For those who have decided to try themselves in surfing and get on the board, we have designed a special course. The training will progress gradually: we will combine theory and practical sessions, analyze your rides, work on techniques, and improve them.
Overview
For surfing lessons, there are no age restrictions: both children and their parents can get on the board.
For young surfers, we have a special methodology that ensures they feel safe, acquire a solid theoretical and practical foundation, and, most importantly, derive immense pleasure from the sessions.
The most important thing is your willingness; we'll take care of the rest!
Training Steps
Training for beginners consists of several stages:
Step One: White water wave (foam) Step Two: Line-up (green waves) Step Three: Surf trips to various spots
Before the 'white water wave' and 'line-up' steps, time is allocated for theory. Subsequent sessions focus solely on practical exercises in the ocean.
After each session, there is a mandatory video analysis where trainers thoroughly review the techniques used during your rides, based on the recorded material.
The initial steps of training take place in Kuta (Bali) and Weligama (Sri Lanka), at a spot with sandy bottoms and gentle waves, which is crucial for a comfortable and safe introduction to surfing.
The first 1-3 sessions are conducted on the white water wave, serving as a preparatory phase for the next level - the line-up.
Surf Trip
A surf trip involves heading to a reef spot. In such spots, waves are longer, break consistently in one place, and typically have a well-defined channel, unlike beach breaks (spots with sandy bottoms).
A surf trip is a new level for your progression. It suits beginner surfers who have completed the basic level and more experienced surfers looking to improve their skills. Before each session, the instructor explains the characteristics of the spot and the nature of the waves.
